Utagawa Kuniyoshi
Kakegawa 掛川 Series: Tokaido gojusan-tsui 東海道五十三対 (Fifty-three pairings along the Tokaido Road). The traditions and historical characters associated with the Stations of the Tokaido by Hiroshige, Toyokuni and Kuniyoshi. The swordsmith Shimosaka reading a letter on the Ise shore.
Condition: Not backed, trimmed as shown, a bit dirty but impression and color good.
