Withdrawal and returns

Our 30-day return policy

We want you to be completely happy with your print. You can return any print within 30 days of receipt without giving a reason. For returns after the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, you receive the full purchase price back once the returned print has arrived; the refund goes to the original means of payment. Within the withdrawal period, the rules of the withdrawal notice below apply.

This return policy applies in addition to your statutory right of withdrawal and does not limit it.

You bear the cost of the return shipment. If a print is damaged or does not match its description, we bear the cost of the return shipment; your statutory legal guarantee rights remain unaffected.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Richard Parr, trading as “Mie Gallery”, 12773 Caswell Avenue, #104, Los Angeles, CA 90066, USA, phone +1 310 435 7452, email info@miegallery.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at the “Withdraw from contract” link at the bottom of every page of our shop. If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Richard Parr, “Mie Gallery”, 12773 Caswell Avenue, #104, Los Angeles, CA 90066, USA, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Return instructions

Please pack the print the way you received it: flat, between stiff board and in acid-free paper. Please send us a short note at info@miegallery.com before you return it, so that we can make the return easier for you. This is not a condition for a valid withdrawal.

Import charges on returns

The import charges collected on delivery (import VAT and any customs duty) and any fee charged by the carrier were not received by us but by customs or the carrier. We therefore do not refund them. If the goods are returned to the USA, you can apply to customs for a refund; according to customs, this requires a written application within 90 days of acceptance of the customs declaration, and proof that the goods were sent back to us. The carrier's fee is not refunded. We are glad to provide you with a confirmation of the return and of our refund for your application.
