Cosmetics Wholesaler Tanaka Kao-do, with a beauty in a violet kimono, and Fudo Meguro textile pattern. From the series: Pride of Tokyo - Famous Things. This series depicts famous places, people, and products in Tokyo. Each print features a portrait of a beauty surrounded by a bamboo frame, with a scene above of a noted shop or restaurant, often with its famous product shown, and a kimono textile pattern at lower left. The title cartouche at upper right is surrounded by a folding fan and a colorful blossom.
