Mitsuhiro Unno (1939–1979) was a Japanese woodblock print artist whose work celebrated the landscapes and traditional rural life of Japan. Largely self-taught, he embraced the ideals of the Sōsaku Hanga ("creative print") movement, designing, carving, and printing his own works from start to finish.

Born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Unno developed a distinctive style that captured the quiet beauty of the Japanese countryside with warmth and authenticity. He was an active member of the Shizuoka Print Society and became an associate member of the Nihon Hanga Kyokai in 1969.

Although his career was cut short by his death at the age of 40, Unno's prints are now held in major museum collections, including the British Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. His work remains highly regarded for its craftsmanship, sincerity, and enduring portrayal of everyday Japan.
