This print is from an untitled set of actors with poems by Kunisada published in 1862. The landscapes in the top of the prints were designed by another artist. Almost all of the prints are based on actual Kabuki performances around the years 1861 and 1862.

扇折小萩 実ハ敦盛

Actor: Kawarazaki Gonjūrō I

Role: Ōgi-ori Kohagi jitsu wa Atsumori (扇折小萩実は敦盛)

Play: Sakigake Genpei tsutsuji.

Condition: Excellent color and impression, cropped as shown, backed on Edo era paper.
