One Hundred Famous Views of Edo: Azuma Shrine and the Entwined Camphor #31 in the series. At the entrance to the shrine on the island in the background is an entwined camphor tree with 2 trunks. These are said to have grown from 2 chopsticks that Prince Yamato Takeru stuck into the ground over a thousand years ago.
