Konishi Hirosada (小西廣貞) (1826 - 1865), was the leading print designer, painter, and book illustrator of the mid-nineteenth century in Osaka. He studied under Utagawa Kunimasu. Hirosada designed more than 800 prints in his lifetime, nearly all in the chûban format.
