Tiger Lady (Tora Gozen), from the series "Illustrated Tale of the Soga Brothers (Soga monogatari zue). She was supposedly the mistress of one of the Soga brothers. After his death, it is said that she became a nun in Hakone and traveled around Japan. There’s some debate if she’s a real person or not but in Japan you can find the graves of the Soga brothers and her grave right next to theirs.
