Beautiful print from the Tokaido Meisho no Uchi This large series by different artists and publishers was made for the commemoration of shogun Tokugawa Iemochi's historic travel from Edo to Kyoto to pay respect to the emperor.
Yoshimori Taguchi was a pupil of the famous printmaker Kuniyoshi Utagawa. The artist is known for different subjects - landscape prints, historic scenes, birds and flowers.
