Scene of the capture of Goro of the Soga brothers. The Soga brothers, Soga Sukenari and Tokimune assassinated Kudō Suketsune, the killer of their biological father. This is a color, two page spread from Kuniyoshi's book featuring 100 warriors from history and legend. Almost all the ukiyo-e artists also illustrated books as well as designing woodblock prints and paintings.
