Onikojima Yatarô Torahide, from the series Courageous Generals of Kai and Echigo Provinces: The Twenty-four Generals of the Uesugi Clan. It's number 14 in the series. The subject, Oni Kojima was one of the leading generals of the Sengoku period. He was supposed to be a demon in combat and that gave him his his nickname, Demon Kojima or Oni Kojima. He is shown here climbing through a broken fence.
His weapon of choice was supposed to be a kanabō, which is a type of club weapon, but on his kimono, he actually has a hammer design, this large hammer weapon is called an ootsuchi, and was mainly used for breaking down doors, so in this story maybe that was his weapon of choice.
