One of the best designs of this series, two geisha who have finished their meal and are relaxing on a ferry. This series "Thirty-six Modern Restaurants", depicts beauties at popular restaurants in different locations. Women are shown serving a meal, relaxing in the garden or on a verandah, or arriving or leaving a teahouse. These colorful designs are nicely detailed with handsome interior and exterior settings showing an interest in Western perspective.

Condition: Print color and overall condition is very good. Margins as shown. Print is backed with Edo-era paper.
