Tsukioka Yoshitoshi
Minamoto no Yoritomo who released a thousand cranes in Yuigahama at the release society of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine (a ceremony to warn meat eating and killing by releasing creatures such as fish and birds). From the series Mirror of Famous Generals of Great Japan (Dai nihon meishô kagami).
Condition: Print color saturation and overall condition is very good. Backed on Edo-era paper, some repairs to right border as shown.
