Okitsu: The Okitsu River and Satta Pass (Okitsu, Okitsugawa Satta no tôge), from the series Famous Sights of the Fifty-three Stations (Gojûsan tsugi meisho zue), also known as the Vertical Tôkaidô.
After the successful publication of the Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido in 1833/34 (Hoeido edition), Ando Hiroshige made nearly twenty more series of the Tokaido Stations. One is called the Upright Tokaido because of the use of the vertical portrait format.
