A book from a series of 25 volumes "The World of Art - Bijutsu Sekai" which was published during 1890-94. The book was edited by the artist Watanabe Seitei, who also contributed designs. Includes 9 single page illustrations and 9 diptychs. Subjects by famous artists range from beauties and scenes from daily life to landscapes and traditional birds and flowers.

Included is a frontispiece foldout by Yoshitoshi. Only a few of the illustrations are pictured here.

Condition: Book is in good overall condition.
