The "Japanese Occupation of Denshodai" refers to a battle during the First Sino-Japanese War in 1895, where Japanese forces defeated the Chinese army and occupied the town of Tianzhuangtai (known as Denshodai in Japanese). The event was widely documented in Japan at the time through senso-e (war prints), which served a journalistic and propaganda purpose, emphasizing Japanese military success and fostering patriotism.
